Position Description:
The Account Coordinator supports the Occupational Medicine department by being responsible for marketing and providing customer service for selected hospital products and services to external area employers within a targeted service location.

Accountabilities: • Assists in completion of annual marketing plan and budget, defines strategies and goals in conjunction with Occupational Medicine leadership department.• Identifies cross sell opportunities for other hospital programs and designs customer specific sales strategies and tactics.• Performs external one on one sales calls to potential customers in an effort to increase awareness of OHC programs and increase OHC visit volume.• Develops tools for documenting and tracking customer interaction and data; maintains customer specific data base.• Assesses external customers through surveys, questionnaires and personal interviews to understand needs.• Creates each corporate company account and contract in conjunction with Occupational Medicine leadership and handles the invoicing/billing out of PennChart for each of those accounts.• Collaborates with marketing/public relations staff in the development of customer oriented promotional materials and sales collateral.• Act as liaison between Occupational Medicine and its external customers.• Provides follow-up to all new and existing customers, addresses customer concerns with appropriate feedback.• Maintains comprehensive knowledge of health care environment, workers' compensation, OSHA, Department of Transportation and ADA.• Recognizes, analyzes and communicates product problems in a resourceful manner by planning an appropriate course of action and seeking assistance as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:
H.S. Diploma/GED And 3+ years Medical office experience is required. Advanced degree (Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's) may be considered in lieu of experience.
