The Expectation for Success

The rotational program for accelerated Technical Account Manager will enable you to leverage technology to help our largest clients solve their most complex problems. You’ll become an authority in the Qualtrics product, enabling you to effectively help customers by instructing and troubleshooting. While helping customers is your focus, you will also lead projects and programs that have an impact across the organization.

After reaching performance milestones as a product specialist, you will advance to become a product expert on our Signature Support team, where you will leverage your technical expertise to advise and assist some of Qualtrics' most valued clients. You will be the primary leader on project level engagements, analyzing potential risks and providing recommendations that will deliver the most impact. The experiences you gain as a member of this team will serve as the foundation for your future success as a Technical Account Manager.

Rotational Program BreakdownProduct Specialist (4-6 months)
  • Gain valuable experience learning and mastering the Qualtrics platform as you prepare to move into the Technical Account Manager role
  • Solve complex and unique problems as you work with our customers (including Fortune 500 employees, tenured professors, and small business owners) via phone, email, or chat
  • Collaborate with fellow product specialists to find outside-the-box solutions for both our customers and our processes

Signature Support (4-6 months)

  • Advance client initiatives by being the primary point of contact on project level engagements for higher tier clients
  • Perform targeted reviews that involve analyzing a specific project for potential risk or looking for areas where industry best practices can be implemented
  • Present final deliverables highlighting the strengths and areas for improvement 

Technical Account Manager

  • Offer technical advisement as the primary point of contact for specific clients among our top-paying customers
  • Develop a deep understanding of client goals and objectives to advise on relevant programs and technical solutions
  • Evaluate your client’s program needs and work cross-functionally within Qualtrics to prioritize and advocate for software feature enhancements on their behalf
  • Collaborate with internal account team and Qualtrics leadership on high level client relationship and program strategy

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from a competitive university
  • Less than 1 year of experience working in a technical, consulting, or client-facing role (years of experience will impact client ownership and scope of responsibilities)
  • Hard-working self-starter capable of concurrently running multiple projects in a dynamic environment
  • Comfort in working both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with software and front-end development
  • An ability to grasp clients’ needs and recommend value-added solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Requirements
  • Prior work experience in client-facing, consulting, or technical role
  • Coding classes and/or coding skills (MATLAB, R, Python, VB, Java, CSS, HTML, etc.)
  • Project management coursework or certification
  • Language proficiency in French, Spanish, or Portuguese
