Role Overview:
As the Vice President of Sales at PTC Japan, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for driving growth and market leadership in region. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with key stakeholders, and execute strategies to expand PTC's presence, achieve revenue targets, and deliver exceptional value to customers, all while building a dynamic and winning culture.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Drive revenue growth by orchestrating strategic sales initiatives and lead the sales team.
- Foster customer relationships, identify potential sales opportunities, and lead complex negotiations.
- Expand PTC's customer base and deepen engagement with existing accounts.
- Establish ecosystem with key Partners (SIs, Resellers, Consulting Firms)
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing, cross-functional team, fostering a wining culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular assessments, and manage performance improvement plans.
Customer Relationships and Satisfaction:
- Cultivate strong customer relationships at executive levels, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as a customer advocate, addressing concerns promptly and maintaining a high level of service.
Operational Excellence:
- Collaborate across functions such as marketing, product management, and support to ensure seamless operations.
- Represent the needs of the Japanese business and communicate effectively with key executive stakeholders at HQ.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field .
- Proven track record of successful sales leadership within the software or technology sector, ideally within the Manufacturing industries.
- Experience in driving businesses with Partners (SIs, Resellers, Consulting firms, etc)
- Deep understanding of industrial technology solutions and the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong people management skills and a history of developing high-performing teams.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across geographies and functions.
- Proficiency in English and Japanese is required.
