As a Sales Training Associate (Curriculum) you will partner with the functional Manager to help design and plan our comprehensive sales education strategy in the Emergency Care space. In this role, you will help develop and implement both virtual and in-person training programs tailored for sales representatives and internal customers. Our diverse portfolio—ranging from capital equipment and data solutions to disposables—supports patient care in the community, law enforcement, Fire/EMSs and hospital settings.
This team is responsible for the continued growth and development of Stryker’s most critical asset, our elite sales force. The education team empowers our sales representatives to better serve their customers, and clinicians, driving improved patient outcomes and clinician safety.
This opportunity provides exposure to the sales and marketing functions, including direct interaction with senior leadership and significant opportunities for career growth, based upon performance. You will gain hands-on experience across the Emergency Care product portfolio and support our world-class selling organization where, together, we save lives.
This is a hybrid position based in Kalamazoo, MI and will be required to be in-office a minimum of 3 days per week, Monday through Wednesday.
What you will do
- Assist in the design, development, and enhancement of sales training programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices in adult learning.
- Create, update, and maintain training materials, including e-learning modules, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, and other instructional content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), sales leaders, and other stakeholders to assist in the development of engaging and relevant sales training content.
- Stay current with industry trends, learning technologies, and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of sales training initiatives.
- Leverage your expertise to design learning solutions rooted in adult learning principles that effectively engage a diverse range of learners.
- Oversee the structure, organization, and accessibility of training materials within learning management systems (LMS) and other digital platforms.
- Conduct ongoing needs assessments to identify gaps in training programs and recommend improvements.
- Follow and use corporate branding guidelines.
- You will be adept at handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on detail orientation.
What you need
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required
Preferred:
- 1 year of professional experience in education, curriculum development or instructional design
- Degree in fields such as Instructional Design, Education, or Curriculum Development
Travel Percentage: 30%
