Job Description:

You as a Sales Trainee will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dubai, UAE. General Sales & Marketing work focuses on a combination of general sales and marketing work including Face-to-face or remote sales to new or existing customers. Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services and solutions. Planning, developing, and delivering the marketing strategy for products/services and associated brand(s). Evaluating, measuring, and managing the product/brand P&L (e.g., budgeting, expenditures, profitability, return-on-investment, etc.) Incumbents in this specialization may also provide customer service and support in the form of information on product/price and resolution to issues related to billing, shipping, delivery, complaints, etc. Incumbents matching to this specialization are compensated based on achievement of sales targets.

Your responsibilities

  • Parting of the M&S trainee program: Learn about the relevant business, offerings, service & product lines within the local sales unit.
  • Engaging with LSM, supervisors, and mentors: Develop your sales skills and knowledge of various sales management processes.
  • Experiential learning as working on assigned projects or KPIs, focus on partnering with key stakeholders, and deliver on required tasks.
  • Diversity + collaboration Innovation as working in a collaborative environment that encourages all voices to share their unique perspectives and fuel innovation.
  • Account plan development as contributing to and participate in the account plan development, understand local account strategy and sales tactics for alignment with customer requirements for mid and long-term strategy.
  • Maintain contacts as work closely with the local or strategic account manager to maintain contacts and learn to build the player map in SFDC.
  • Solution portfolio as gaining a broad and deep understanding of Hitachi Energy’s solutions, portfolio including digital, software, services.
  • Segments and Channels as understanding the concept of segments and channels as applied in Hitachi Energy businesses in the local market and collaborate with the channel manager to generate specific opportunities and map customers to understand the local market footprint.
  • Visibility activities as associating in activities to provide visibility to broad solutions applied across different segments like renewables, digital, and service.
  • Marketing as understand local marketing plan and actively participate in supporting the local team.

Your background

  • A bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required.
  • Build and maintain relationships as establishing connections with new clients and nurturing existing ones within the local unit.
  • Identifying and researching local sales leads; support in maintain SFDC pipeline, customer visit reports, understand regional or local market trends.
  • Engaging with leads as communicating with potential customers (internal and external) through calls, emails, or visits, often across different time zones.
  • Working towards sales KPIs as assigned by LSM; working jointly with sales teams striving to meet or exceed budget targets for country.
  • Documenting sales activities as keeping records of sales and order details, often using CRM systems like Salesforce:
