We are seeking a Sales Team Manager to lead a Leeds-based team of Enterprise Sales Advisors responsible for meeting clients’ commercial insurance needs. Our clients typically range from sole proprietors through to SMEs.
In this role, you will oversee day-to-day performance and workflow, while contributing to strategic decision-making and driving growth across the team. You’ll support the placement of new business using your knowledge of the insurance market and will ensure the team operates in line with internal audit requirements and FCA guidelines, working with a specialist approved panel of insurers.

We will rely on you to:
Conduct meaningful 1-to-1s with Sales Advisors, including coaching, development plans, and performance improvement; performance managing where necessary
Establish productive, professional relationships with key internal stakeholders
Communicate with and work alongside affinity partners
Use daily MI to drive performance and identify opportunities to improve results and processes
Maintain a proactive approach to sales and pipeline management, ensuring accurate forecasting and execution
Inspire and lead the team to meet and exceed sales targets
Create a high-energy environment through engagement, team meetings, buzz sessions, and incentives
Complete and maintain weekly/monthly trackers, dashboards, and reporting; take accountability for team performance
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, processes, insurance best practices, and competitor activity
Communicate and implement updates/changes and new initiatives with a positive, supportive leadership style
Contribute positively to the wider team and overall success of the company

Experience contributing to strategic decision-making and driving growth within a team
Experience setting performance standards, conducting reviews, and providing coaching and development
