We are looking for a Sales Team Lead with strong leadership and interpersonal skills to drive performance, develop talent, and strengthen customer relationships within a technically complex and commercially driven environment focused on refrigeration compression, drives, and controls.

This position operates remotely in Germany, but travel to our offices in Aachen is expected! #LI-Remote

Key Responsibilities of the Role
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 5 sales professionals
  • Set clear priorities and ensure consistent execution of the sales strategy
  • Drive performance through structured pipeline management and disciplined opportunity tracking
  • Support the team in complex customer situations, technical discussions, and negotiations
  • Monitor and review individual and team performance against targets and KPIs
  • Ensure strong coverage of key accounts and strategic customers across the region
  • Develop team capability and actively support career growth and succession planning
  • Collaborate closely with Segment Leadership to execute regional and global strategies
  • Drive disciplined use of Salesforce and ensure high forecasting accuracy
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and collaboration
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading technical sales teams or application-oriented sales teams
  • Strong background in refrigeration compression, drives, or closely related technologies
  • Solid understanding of OEM environments and the food retail refrigeration market
  • Technical education or background (mechanical, electrical, or similar discipline)
  • Experience with solution selling across compressors, drives, and control systems
  • Strong commercial mindset with a track record of driving revenue growth
  • Leadership experience with clear people management responsibility (typically 5–10 years relevant experience)
  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and structured forecasting processes
  • Open industry exposure; HVAC experience is not essential (automotive or adjacent industries also considered)
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience within global industrial or automation-focused organisations
  • Experience in matrixed, international organisations
  • Exposure to both strategic account management and hands-on customer engagement
  • Track record of building or scaling high-performing teams
