The Role

VIP is seeking a friendly and charismatic Sales Support Specialist to join our Distributor Sales Team! This position will play a vital role in supporting the sales team by providing administrative and operational assistance. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Sales Support Specialist will ensure smooth sales processes and contribute to achieving sales targets.

Position Type: Full Time, Hybrid. This position will report to our office headquarters in Colchester, VT.

Starting Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00/hour 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations.
  • Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems with accurate information.
  • Coordinate sales meetings and events, including scheduling, logistics, and materials preparation.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide information on products, pricing, and availability.
  • Prepare sales reports and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, support, and implementation, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage sales documentation and maintain organized files.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer-oriented with a professional demeanor.
