About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our dedicated and dynamic team, delivering exceptional service and creating meaningful connections with every guest interaction. This role requires a strong phone presence, a passion for providing seamless and memorable experiences, and the ability to build genuine relationships. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to upholding the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

What you will do

  • Answer multi-line telephone system and provide timely and thorough assistance.

  • Initiate qualifications for telephone sales inquiries to support sales process and create a positive impact by effectively qualifying business for Leisure, Corporate and/or Group segments.

  • Ability to communicate verbally and professionally with a positive impact on all parties including handling challenging and difficult customer.

  • Prepare written correspondence including letters, contracts, reports, menu proposals, sales proposals, diagrams, and emails using MS Word, Delphi, Outlook, and other periphery software devices.

  • Prepare sales proposals, contracts and supportive materials for sales managers through proper guidance and direction, while learning from these experiences to make recommendations to further improve these processes and details of each proposal.

What you bring

  • College education preferred

  • Previous Hotel, Banqueting, or Conference Services an asset

  • Excellent reading, writing & oral proficiency in the English language

  • Persuasive verbal and written sales instincts and rapport-building skills

  • Capacity to translate customer needs and prioritizing these needs through the inquiry process with sensitivity to client engagement and participation

  • Persuasive writing skills that advance the sales process in a positive atmosphere over the telephone and in writing

  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
