This is a 'Sales Support Specialist - Electrification' role in Process Industries Division. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (Process Industries division) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your technical skill by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.

This role is contributing to the Automation – Process Industries business. Main stakeholders are customers, EPCs/consultants, sales and engineering teams, product management, and project execution functions.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Delivering technical consultation and optimized electrification solutions by analyzing customer requirements, reviewing specifications, and defining clear scopes with transparent cost and responsibility mapping.
Preparing comprehensive techno-commercial proposals including bill of quantities, cost estimation, and competitive bid strategies while identifying and managing commercial, technical, and contractual risks.
Collaborating with engineering, service, vendors, and product units to develop value-driven proposals and support sales growth through technical presentations, workshops, and customer problem resolution.
Driving customer engagement and pre-sales activities to acquire orders, improve profitability, and achieve key performance metrics including order intake, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
Ensuring achievement of business objectives including revenue growth, volume targets, and profitable expansion across assigned product portfolios, industries, and geographic markets.
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline from a reputed university or institution.
10-18 years of experience in technical sales, bids & proposals, engineering, or solution development for large-scale electrification projects across Mining, Metals, Cement, Paper, and other process industries.
Extensive expertise in Electrical Power Distribution Systems, including HV Substations (AIS & GIS), MV & LT Switchgear, Intelligent MCCs, Transformers, Busducts, Battery Chargers, Cable Management Systems, and associated electrical infrastructure.
Extensive knowledge of motor and drive sizing, selection, and application engineering for process industry requirements, particularly in mining equipment, metals processing plants, profile mills, cement plants, and paper manufacturing facilities.
Hands-on experience in preparing techno-commercial proposals, solution engineering, and customer-facing technical discussions, supported by strong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English.
Proficiency in electrical system studies and engineering tools such as ETAP, with additional experience in E-house solutions, substation automation systems, and integrated electrification solutions considered a strong advantage.
