As a Sales Support Specialist – Customer Support, you are the key link between the customer and the organization.

You ensure that customer inquiries, orders, and administrative processes run smoothly and accurately — from request to invoicing.

Together with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain, you create a seamless customer experience.

In this role, you combine customer interaction, coordination, and administrative work within a technical environment.

🎯 Key responsibilities

Customer Support & Order Management

  • Coordinate and resolve customer inquiries in collaboration with internal teams
  • Process and follow up on orders (quotations, planning, and invoicing)
  • Ensure timely and accurate order handling
  • Act as the main point of contact and escalation point for customers

Customer experience & communication

  • Proactively inform customers about the status of their requests
  • Ensure a consistent and positive customer experience
  • Align closely with Sales, Service, and Supply Chain

Data & performance

  • Analyze forecasts and sales performance
  • Prepare reports and share insights
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement

What you bring
  • MBO level 4 (vocational education), preferably in an administrative field
  • 3–5 years of experience in customer support, sales support, or order management
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Technical affinity (experience in an industrial environment is a plus)
  • Proactive and flexible mindset
  • Good command of Dutch and English (minimum B2 level)
  • French is a plus (for supporting Belgian customers)

  • Location: Rotterdam Waalhaven
  • Work model: Hybrid (3 days in the office / 2 days from home)
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Team: 6 colleagues
