Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organized Sales Support. The role will focus on handling administrative tasks to make sure the sales team is running smoothly. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to assist the sales team by supporting the department in administrative duties. You should be highly skilled in data entry system and data retrieval.
Key Responsibilities
Support sales staff by completing and processing orders and keeping sales team informed of any issues with delivery.
Support sales staff with administrative tasks such as creating new customers, new suppliers and materials in the system.
Ability to prepare sales quote and enter sales order accurately from the information provided by sales team.
Assist sales team in maintaining an active sales pipeline and update CRM accurately.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
Recommended Candidate Profile
Qualification in an industry related discipline (science/chemistry) desirable but not essential.
Recent graduates in relevant industries with strong administrative skills looking to develop commercial/sales skills in a science-based role is encouraged to apply.
Marketing or Commerce degree would also be valued.
Prior experience in sales and/or customer experience role desirable.
Experience in distribution, chemical or other similar industry desirable but not essential.
Working experience with SAP, Salesforce or similar ERP system and CRM preferred but not essential.

Experience handling quotations, tender, pricing and RFQs,
Experience preparing monthly sales forecast and maintaining active opportunity pipelines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Interpersonal awareness with a proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships and build credibility and trust with internal stakeholders and customers via digital platforms (e.g. phone, video messaging, e-mail)
