JOB SUMMARY 

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Support Manager with a passion for building responsive, high-energy teams. This team will provide critical support for our sales organization as they work to expand relationships with new and existing dealers, retail/home stores, and kitchen designers. 

Your team will support all aspects of the sales process, allowing sellers to spend more time in front of their customers. The team will need to be organized, positive, and solution focused as they work with the sales teams to ensure a positive buying experience for customers that enables Cabinetworks to grow market share.

You will guide the team to deliver critical business activities that support a best-in-class customer experience. You will ensure their success by directing workflow, actively coaching, identifying areas for process improvement, and developing your team of Sales Coordinators to meet and exceed performance targets. This role regularly collaborates with regional sales leaders and teams to ensure alignment across the sales channels and regions. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Build and lead a team of high performing sales coordinators.
  • Provide training, guidance, and leadership to the team. Communicate clear goals, monitor performance, and drive results.
  • Create and maintain department schedules, adjusting staff to support multiple time zones. Manage and approve employee work schedules, timecards, PTO requests, and overtime.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leaders and teams to ensure support team is enabling them to meet sales objectives and providing exceptional support.
  • Plan and conduct department meetings, interview and onboard new candidates, monitor time and attendance, and conduct employee performance reviews.
  • Conduct metric driven analyses quarterly that identifies opportunities for the team to resolve barriers/challenges and improve experiences for customers over the long term.
  • Identify areas of improvement within sales processes and reporting. Develop strategies, leverage technology and tools, implement solutions to enhance efficiency, and increase team productivity.
  • Ensure the team has the tools, technology, and knowledge necessary to effectively support the sales teams. Utilize Salesforce.com to track customer and sales rep interactions.
  • Ensure all company programs, marketing programs, and product introductions are properly implemented and supported by the team. 
  • Participate in weekly regional meetings, cross-functional teams or planning teams. 
  • Establish and manage the team’s expense budget. 
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate a strong understanding of market conditions, trends, and the competitive environment.
  • Help identify resources to support for complex product requests, questions that occur pre-quote, and connecting the sales teams with appropriate internal resources.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and local business leaders on various projects to drive sales productivity.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • High School diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred. All combinations of education and experience will be considered. 
  • 2+ years of leadership experience with direct reports.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting sales teams for the construction, home renovation, cabinetry, or related industries. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written, verbal, nonverbal, and presentation); ability to convey strong, clear messages to target audiences of all sizes including employees, customers, and industry groups.
  • Responsive, professional persona with a “can do” attitude; effective interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Ability and willingness to periodically travel for dealer/contractor meetings. Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record is required. 
  • Conduct business with a high level of ethical standards and integrity 
  • Demonstrated planning, time management, and organizational skills. 
  • Strong drive for results and consistently meets deadlines. 
  • Experience and competency working with technology to maximize effectiveness (Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com, and various software applications) 
  • Solution-oriented and innovative thinking abilities 
  • Must be able to periodically lift up to 50 lbs.
