Role Summary:

As a Sales Support Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the sales teams by providing technical expertise and ensuring smooth execution of the order-to-delivery process. This role bridges customer needs with internal capabilities, working across functions to deliver accurate and timely solutions.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Sales Engineers to understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions. Prepare equipment selections, costing, and detailed quotations based on project specifications. Liaise with factories and suppliers to ensure proper product selection, competitive pricing, and solution accuracy. Maintain deep knowledge of the company’s product offerings, including their features, benefits, and applications. Enter and update order information in the order management system with accuracy and attention to detail. Coordinate order processing and delivery logistics to meet customer expectations. Manage and process customer orders, ensuring timely fulfilment and alignment with contract terms. Handle invoice issuance, credit/debit notes, and ensure timely revenue recognition in line with company policies. Proactively address and resolve order-related issues, including discrepancies, modifications, returns, and cancellations. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the order management process and contribute to system and workflow enhancements. Support additional sales support and order management tasks as required by the business.

Requirement:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in technical field (i.e. Engineering, HVAC, or related field).

Experience: Prior experience in order management, technical support, sales engineering role is an advantage, especially in the HVAC or industrial equipment industry.

Skills:

  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP or order management systems is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
