Job Description
The Sales Support Specialist position will provide direct support for a cross-functional Inside Sales Team. - Interact with customers from various fields in a laboratory setting.
- Triage customers to the appropriate Sales Account Manager and assist in lead generation.
- Manage quotes and literature requests for diverse product lines.
- Assist the broader Commercial Sales team when necessary.
- Receive all technical calls and triage appropriately.
- Update and maintain CRM systems.
- Capture new product inquiries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills.
- 3 – 5 years of customer-facing experience.
- Understanding of sales processes and goals.
- CRM experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to multi-task and function independently in a fast-paced environment.
