Job Description:

Please note that this position is employed by Zuellig Pharma under a hosted arrangement. The incumbent works exclusively on behalf of Ipsen, supporting Ipsen’s products and activities in Thailand.

The role is responsible for driving sales performance, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), and ensuring the successful promotion and positioning of assigned pharmaceutical products. The role involves in-depth product knowledge, territory planning, scientific engagement, and effective execution of sales strategies aligned with the company’s goals.

Main Responsibilities

Territory Management & Sales Execution

  • Achieve or exceed sales targets for the assigned territory and product portfolio.
  • Conduct regular visits to healthcare professionals, including general practitioners, specialists, and pharmacists, to promote products.
  • Implement marketing and sales strategies to increase product awareness and adoption.
  • Organize product detailing sessions and promotional activities within the territory.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify business opportunities and threats.

Scientific engagement & product knowledge

  • Present scientific and clinical data to HCPs in a clear, concise, and ethical manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest medical, clinical, and therapeutic area information relevant to assigned products.
  • Support continuing medical education (CME) initiatives and participate in medical conferences, symposia, and product launches when required.

Stakeholder relationship management

  • Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), physicians, pharmacists, and hospital administrators.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact between the company and HCPs to ensure consistent engagement and feedback collection.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through timely and effective communication.

Compliance and reporting

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activities (e.g., daily call reports, territory action plans, expense claims).
  • Operate in full compliance with local regulatory and industry guidelines (e.g., Code of Conduct, HSA/MOH regulations, company SOPs).
  • Attend all mandatory training sessions and participate in regular team meetings.

Cross-functional collaboration 

  • Coordinate with marketing, medical affairs, supply chain, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth execution of commercial activities.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer insights to internal stakeholders to support product planning and strategy refinement.

Ethics and Compliance

  • Represent Ipsen’s brands in a professional, compliant, ethical, and effective manner.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate the Ipsen pillars of ethical conduct in the Ipsen Code of Ethical Conduct and all other related Company guidelines.
  • Comply with Country/Industry standards on Ethics and Compliance, the Pharmaceutical Code of Conduct, and other applicable regulations and practices.
Knowledge & Experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales preferred.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic areas such as oncology is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and resilient under pressure.
  • Excellent presentation and detailing abilities.
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management.
  • Analytical thinking and basic data interpretation skills.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related healthcare/biomedical disciplines
  •  A degree in Life Sciences or Pharmaceuticals is a plus
