Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Sales Specialist to join our team in Hastings.
The role
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will manage and develop effective customer relationships across the region, creating sustainable value-add opportunities. You will work across all aspects of the sales process from the tender stage through to negotiating prices and contracts.
The focus of this role is to take responsibility for the development and management of existing customer accounts along with obtaining new business within the Hawkes Bay market to maximise profits and achieve sales objectives. This autonomous role will require you to develop existing and target new markets whilst continuing to identify and deliver solutions to grow market share within the current customer base.
Providing a high level of service that will consolidate long-term relationships, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring service excellence and assisting our clients achieve their long-term sustainability goals.
QualificationsAbout you
You’re motivated, realistic and self-sufficient. You are a natural at building strong relationships to ensure you deliver on targets and drive the region’s sales. You are a confident self-starter who will be perfectly at ease working alone in the region, happy to do whatever is necessary to ensure our customer’s high standards of service delivery are met. To succeed in this role, you will have excellent time management and organisational skills.
Ideally, you have a successful track record in sales or account management but more importantly, you will have the ability to develop long-term relationships and be self-managing with personal drive toward being a high performer in all you do.
