The Role .
You will play an important role in maintaining and monitoring all onsite electrical systems and equipment. You will be working in a rostered environment, working 2x day shifts, 2x night shifts, then enjoying 4 days off.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include ensuring the maximum efficiency and availability of plant operations, executing preventative maintenance, and swiftly addressing breakdowns. You'll play a key part in fostering a strong safety culture, complying with both company and legislative standards, and collaborating across teams to support a high-performing, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities .

• Conduct daily maintenance and inspection work orders using SAP
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, drives, and control circuits
• Respond to equipment breakdowns (call outs)
• Participate in electrical installations, test and tag, and fabrication
• Maintain compliance with all electrical and safety standards - including LOTO, JSA, and hazard assessments
• Support, train, and develop your colleagues, sharing your expertise
• Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Six Sigma)
• Attend and contribute to shift meetings and handovers, ensuring seamless communication at all times
• Complete all necessary documentation to maintain plant programs and quality systems

What You'll Bring .

• Current New Zealand electrical registration and relevant trade qualification
• Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems and fault-finding/problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of manufacturing best practices: GMP, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Motivation to cross-train and add value across the wider business
