Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of Low Voltage Electric Motors for OEMs in Chile, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
The work model for the role is: hybrid
This role is contributing to the Low Voltage NEMA and IEC Motors Divisions. Main stakeholders are Project and Serial OEMs located in Central zone of Chile.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Identifying project pipeline by OEM/by End User.
- Motors selection using ABB tools.
- Prepare quotations (technical and commercial).
- Coordinate product trainings in designated accounts.
- Identifying the potential of each account.
- Communicating to the customers about general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.
- Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
- Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
- Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor in electrical/electronic engineer.
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in electric motor applications
- You have 5 years of experience in technical & commercial sales working as sales specialist with electric motors and drives.
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of market, competitors, stakeholders.
- You are engaged and highly skilled in customer focus and technical & commercial role.
- You are at ease communicating in Spanish and English.
- You hold current driver license B valid in Chile.
