The Sales Specialist – Bently Nevada & Cordant Solutions supports the successful execution of sales activities by assisting senior sales leaders, engaging with customers, and helping drive opportunities from qualification to closure. This role builds foundational sales capabilities while developing strong technical understanding of condition monitoring systems and digital industrial software. 

As a Sales Specialist, You Will Be Responsible For

  • Supporting the sale of Bently Nevada hardware, sensors, protection systems, and Cordant digital solutions. 

  • Building and maintaining relationships with end users, EPCs, system integrators, OEMs, and channel partners. 

  • Responding to customer inquiries and coordinating technical support with the technical account management team. 

Regional & Global Project Support: 

  • Supporting regional and global project pursuits, including opportunity tracking, forecasting, and documentation. 

  • Assisting with project coordination across sales, engineering, supply chain, and services teams. 

  • Helping ensure accurate scope definition and smooth handover from sales to project execution teams. 

Opportunity & Pipeline Management: 

  • Maintaining accurate opportunity data in CRM tools. 

  • Supporting lead qualification, follow‑ups, and sales funnel reporting. 

  • Assisting with preparing customer proposals, quotations, and contractual documentation. 

Product & Market Development: 

  • Developing a strong understanding of Bently Nevada and Cordant solutions, value propositions, and target industries. 

  • Staying informed on customer applications, industry trends, and competitive offers. 

  • Participating in product training, customer demos, and internal sales development programs. 

To Be Successful in This Role You Will: 

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

  • Have experience in technical or industrial sales. 

  • Have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. 

  • Have strong organizational skills with attention to detail. 

  • Have the ability to work effectively in a team‑based, matrix organization. 

  • Have proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Have internship or co‑op experience in sales, engineering, project management, or industrial environments. 

  • Have familiarity with industrial markets such as energy, oil & gas, power generation, mining, or manufacturing. 

  • Have experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). 

  • Have basic understanding of sensors, vibration monitoring, or industrial software.
