The Sales Specialist - Immunohistochemistry Brazil for Leica Biosystems is responsible for develop and execute successful sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in territory.

 

This position reports to Sales Manager Brazil and is part of the Sales Team located in São Paulo (Capital) and will be remote. 

 

In this role, your main responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Drives revenue growth and customer acquisition by leveraging deep IHC portfolio expertise to convert opportunities into business results. Owns account management and delivers territory targets across revenue and market share. Will be responsible for revenue
  • Shapes and executes the commercial strategy in close partnership with Marketing and cross-functional teams to deliver planned outcomes. Engages from the outset of the sales cycle as the customer’s lead commercial interface. 
  • Leads customer engagement through strategic visits and value-based presentations, clearly articulating business impact and ROI. Sustains post-sale relationships to expand wallet share through cross-sell and upsell opportunities. 
  • Orchestrates alignment with technical specialists and service teams to ensure a differentiated offering and effective post-sales support. Owns the end-to-end commercial process, from needs assessment and value proposition development through negotiation and close, while engaging Product Experts as needed and retaining full accountability for the account’s commercial performance. 

The essential requirements of the job include:

 

  • Education: Bachelor of Science OR equivalent work experience

 

  • Required Skills: Proven presence at Product and Sales and influence with key decision makers. Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience or selling in a matrixed environment.

 

  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software.

  

  • Language: Intermediate English

 

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Must Possess a valid Driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meetings (locally and internationally)

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Prior experience in pathology and oncology diagnostics market
