Your role and responsibilities:
As a member of the Planner Consultants team, you collaborate closely with ABB Electrification’s departments to ensure positive business growth through professional advice and support.

Key requirements include strong technical expertise in electrical engineering, preferably in energy technology.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Advise electrical planners and engineering offices in the German-speaking part of Switzerland on the entire ABB Electrification portfolio; acquire new projects and build partnerships.

  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and technical support; prepare technical offers and support contract negotiations with project teams.

  • Conduct market analyses to identify new business opportunities and trends in electrical planning; organize and participate in industry events, trade fairs, and networking activities.

  • Continuously update product knowledge, technological developments, and market changes to ensure professional consulting and support.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Completed degree or advanced technical qualification in electrical engineering, preferably complemented by business administration.

  • Experience in the electrical planning industry or in sales of electrotechnical components.

  • Proven track record in acquiring new customers and maintaining sustainable business relationships.

  • Knowledge of ABB products and their applications is an advantage.

  • Fluent German and good English skills are mandatory; additional languages are a plus.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and enjoys working in a team.

  • Independent, goal-driven working style with willingness to travel within Switzerland; valid driver’s license (category B).
