Profile Requirements:

  • Experience: 5.5+ years of B2B sales experience with a demonstrated track record of closing volume or multi-unit deals, preferably within footwear, athletic accessories, consumer goods, or sports
  • Industry Background (Preferred): Background in or exposure to footwear retail, athletic equipment, or sports accessories is strongly preferred (existing relationships with retail buyers, athletic directors, or institutional procurement contacts are a significant advantage)
  • Outbound and Field Sales Skills: Proven ability to generate pipeline through cold calling, cold email, in-person prospecting, and local field sales activity, with comfort pitching a new-to-market product that requires educating buyers on both concept and value proposition
  • Bulk and Institutional Sales Experience: Experience selling product or services in volume to organizations, teams, schools, or retail accounts; comfort negotiating quantity-based pricing and building proposals for institutional and corporate buyers
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Strong verbal and written English communication with the ability to adapt the pitch across diverse buyer types (retail floor managers, school athletic directors, corporate procurement contacts, SEA-based distribution partners, etc.)

Core responsibilities:

  • Outbound Prospecting and Pipeline Development: Identify and initiate contact with target accounts across sneaker and footwear retail, athletic programs, school athletic directors, sports medicine facilities, health clubs, and athletic accessory buyers
  • Footwear Retail Channel Development: Target and develop relationships with sneaker retailers, footwear boutiques, and sporting goods stores to secure in-store placement and retail partnerships, leveraging the sneaker retail landscape as a primary growth channel
  • Athletic Director and Safety-Focused Outreach: Conduct targeted outreach to athletic directors and school administrators presenting the product's injury mitigation and liability reduction value proposition, including its elimination of trailing lace trip hazards and alignment with student accident and general liability risk management programs
  • Remote and Field Sales Execution: Execute a high-volume sales operation through phone, email, video, and in-person outreach (where proximity allows), maintaining organized CRM records of all prospect activity, follow-up sequences, and deal stages to ensure consistent pipeline velocity
  • Institutional and Bulk Account Sales: Pitch and close volume purchase agreements with organizations requiring team or department-wide adoption, including school athletic programs, sports clubs, and footwear retailers, with emphasis on large-quantity orders ranging from team packs to wholesale-level deals
