We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-driven individual who enjoys working behind the scenes, particularly in mining and enriching data, to assist in account identification for sales prospecting efforts. The ideal candidate is thoughtful, organized and able to try different approaches to locate data across different systems in order to build out account profiles in support of optimizing our sales pipeline. The Sales Researcher's role is to identify potential clients by researching company and contact data and providing it to the sales team. You’ll Get To:

  • Conduct extensive prospect research, based on target clients, using various sales tools and databases; including cold calling, to identify prospect accounts and contacts.

  • Validate and enrich website, industry, contact information, etc. for prospect accounts and contacts and review for minimum quality criteria.

  • Support cross-functional marketing and sales initiatives to identify prospect accounts and enrich and/or maintain the integrity of our CRM data.

  • Validate contact information of prospects and review for minimum quality criteria.

  • Prepare list of prospects for CRM import or enter data directly in CRM.

  • Perform data hygiene & data clean up in our primary sales tools to support account identification, account management and sales pipeline activities.

  • Research data discrepancies including duplicate or missing client data to update database.

  • Partner with Enterprise Systems, Marketing and Sales teams on data management projects.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Need:

  • 1 to 2 years of equivalent experience working in a process-driven team environment.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce highly preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Able to mine and scrub data using defined processes and procedures.

  • Previous experience using web-based tools a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
