Job DescriptionThe Sales Representative — Export (Panama) is responsible for driving Mattel's growth in Panama by managing
distributor and retail accounts, ensuring seamless export operations from China, and achieving sales targets
across core brands like Barbie, Hot Wheels, and Fisher-Price. The role combines commercial execution with
strategic account management, balancing customer relationships, forecasting accuracy, and operational
excellence. Acting as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, the position supports market expansion
and brand visibility in Panama's toy industry. This role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and crossfunctional
collaboration skills to ensure sustainable business performance in the export channel.
What You’ll Do
• Manage and grow the portfolio of distributor and retail accounts in Panama to achieve sustainable sales
growth.
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across Mattel’s core brands.
• Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts and demand planning in collaboration with cross-functional
teams.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and incoterms with customers to secure profitable agreements.
• Coordinate end-to-end export processes from China, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of products.
• Generate and present sales reports, KPIs, and performance analyses to management on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and certification teams to support product launches and in-store
activations.
• Resolve operational and logistical issues proactively to maintain customer satisfaction and trust.
• Represent Mattel professionally in customer meetings, business reviews, and occasional trade fairs.
Who We’re Looking For
• 2 years of experience in the commercial and/or consumer industry.
• Ability to manage Excel, large datasets, create reports, and perform sales and forecasting analysis.
• Knowledge of how to reconcile and balance client account statements, including tracking orders, payments,
and credits.
• Understanding of Incoterms and the basics of logistics coordination for export operations.
• Strong skills to negotiate commercial terms with clients while leveraging data insights to support decisions.
• Basic familiarity with the toy category, consumer trends, and key brand drivers (e.g., Barbie, Hot Wheels,
Fisher-Price).
