About the role:

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Sales Representative to join our Sales & Marketing Team based in Port Moresby.

This role primarily exists to identify sales opportunities through the auditing and analysis of existing and potential parts, service, and machine opportunities within the business.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, your competency and experience will include:

• Ensure safety goals are achieved through personal commitment, no harm to self or others and participation in safety initiatives.
• Proactively seek and maintain collaborative working relationships with peers and manager to deliver results.
• Ensure immediate customer satisfaction is achieved through use of initiative.
• Organize and coordinate all PSE enquiries and update CRM on a daily basis.
• Loading all potential sale opportunities to SalesLink.
• Assist the relevant department managers to manage the stock and spare parts strategy.
• Be the conduit to communicate internal improvements with staff on general business practice.
• Manage and upload various marketing initiatives as directed by the Sales and Marketing Manager.
• Design and upload brochures, website updates and social media releases, ensuring they comply and are approved and within the relevant HD Marketing guidelines.
• Create customer awareness of the capabilities of the Company’s support services and utilize same to the maximum.
• Identify potential markets for Dealer opportunities.

About You:

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

• Must have Grade 12 school certificate.
• Tertiary Qualification in Business or related is desirable.
• Must have a PNG Driver’s license, Class 3 or 6.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the mining, mining services or heavy earthmoving industries
• Good understanding of Hastings Deering and Caterpillar support systems or similar.
• Excellent computer knowledge, working with Microsoft Office.
