Position Profile
The Sales Associate is HOLLY HUNT’s primary face to the customer. Their goal is to make the designer look good to their clients, to assist designers and clients with purchase decisions, to maximize sales, and to ensure HOLLY HUNT is easy to do business with.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through proactive outreach, personalized communication, and exceptional customer service.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and preferences to recommend suitable solutions which meet their requirements.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in product offering, including customization options.
  • Generate sales leads through various channels, including inbound inquiries, social media, publications and networking events.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets to drive revenue growth and contribute to the overall success of the showroom and HOLLY HUNT.
  • Provide direction to and coordinate with Client Services Representatives.
  • Generate quotes, using system tools.
  • Convert quotes into orders in the system, handling related payments and work on the order details and specifications by designer.
  • Maintain, monitor, follow-up on quotes, orders, and order status through completion, providing clear and timely communication to all relevant parties.
  • Stay informed of new HH products and other general information of interest to clients.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  •  2+ years sales experience in showroom/design environment preferred.
  • Experience in the luxury market, experience with furniture and textiles a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Organized, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.
  • Some lifting (20-50 lbs max)
