REPORTS TO: Area Manager
FUNCTION: Sales
This position will assume the responsibility of selling and promoting centrifuges as well as achieving the sales target in assigned territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Adheres to company policies, procedures, programs and services.
- Customer Visiting:
- Visits customers periodically to build and maintain positive relationships;
- Anticipates and identifies potential customer needs, circumstance and purchasing intentions;
- Comprehends competitors’ product features and advantages, with information from their customers;
- Follows up on demo experiments and collect feedback.
- Channel Partner Management
- Works closely with channel partners or distributors on sales funnel management;
- Establishes and maintains up-to-date sales funnel by updating SFDC accordingly and timely;
- Follows up on existing project and case proactively;
- Studies the target marketplace and keeps updated with latest market condition and trends;
- Explores new business opportunities and refers sales leads with distributors.
- Resource Allocation
- Coordinates resources from other departments, like Marketing and Service team to deliver solutions to meet customer expectations;
- Collaborates and communicates internally on critical and special problems solving, etc., to improve customer satisfaction.
- Closes Deal
- Participates in bidding document preparation, tendering and bidding process, project negotiation, collecting the receivable accounts and other activities to close deal smoothly;
- Follows standard internal procedures and government regulations on quotation process, discount approval and other business activities; ensures compliance integrity.
- Explores Opportunities
- Attends seminars, exhibitions and demonstrations to promote company business;
- Builds up networking among customers to enhance company’s brand image and competitiveness.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS:- External contacts for this position include channel partners, customers in hospitals, laboratories, universities, Bio-Pharma companies, etc.
- Internal contacts include associates of Sales, Marketing, CTS, HR, Finance, Sales Operation, etc.
EDUCATION & SKILLS:
- Bachelor degree or above; major in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Pharmacy and Molecular Biology is preferred
- Good command in computer application with Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Good command in English (read and write is must, Fluent Oral English is plus )
- Bachelor’s degree in field with 3+ years exp. OR Master’s degree in field with 2+ years exp.
- Previous experience in life science industry is preferred.
Excellent selling skill, negotiation skill and communication skill is a must for this position.

Skills Required
