Huntsman is seeking a Sales Representative – Power supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in The Woodlands, Texas. This position will report to the Sales Manager - Infrastructure.

Job Scope

The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and promoting our advanced coating solutions across various industries. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills

In summary, as the Sales Representative, you will:  

  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the Power sector.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand clients’ needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Promote Huntsman Advanced Materials Power and related products to clients through presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
  • Highlight the benefits and competitive advantages of our Power solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to help shape future product offerings and strategies.
  • Work with manufacturing sites and marketing to understand line capacities and associated product lines to focus on for growth
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical support and customer service, to ensure seamless client interactions and satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns clients may have regarding our products or services.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and foster long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
 
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the Power or specialty chemicals industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Power and their applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • A willingness to travel extensively within the Americas as needed, up to [70%]
