As a Sales Representative, you will drive growth of Stryker’s Joint Replacement / Arthroplasty portfolio across Limpopo territory You will act as a trusted advisor to orthopedic surgeons and hospital stakeholders, combining strong clinical knowledge with advanced consultative sales skills. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will own territory strategy, execution, and results, while representing Stryker with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
What You Will Do
Develop and execute a robust territory business plan for Limpopo, including SWOT analysis, SMART objectives, and contingency planning
Drive sustainable revenue growth by winning market share, closing complex opportunities, and expanding key accounts across public and private sectors
Build strong, value-based relationships with surgeons, theatre teams, procurement, and hospital leadership
Act as a clinical and commercial expert, holding credible discussions on Joint Replacement / Arthroplasty products, procedures, and innovations
Provide high-quality in-theatre support, education, and training, adding value and confidence during procedures
Use consultative selling techniques to understand customer needs and business drivers, positioning solutions accordingly
Support pricing strategies, financing options, and tender processes in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager
Monitor competitor activity and market trends, identifying opportunities for portfolio and cross-franchise growth
Mentor and support junior sales colleagues, contributing to capability development within the team
Ensure accurate reporting and full compliance with Stryker’s ethics, quality, and customer service standards
What You Will Need
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of successful sales experience in orthopedic portfolio. Based on experience the role could be upgraded to more senior.
Proven ability to manage a territory independently and consistently close business
Established orthopedic network in Limpopo
Strong commercial understanding of public and private healthcare sectors
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
High integrity and commitment to patient safety
Fluency in English and a valid driver’s licence
Preferred
Experience supporting tenders and complex procurement processes
Successful sales experience in Arthroplasty / Joint Replacement portfolio is a nice to have
