A Day in the LifeThe Mid Capital Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration for Medtronic's Mid Capital portfolio within an assigned geography. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, developing customer relationships, executing commercial strategies, and closing capital equipment sales while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value-based healthcare solutions.The individual will act as a trusted partner to healthcare providers and institutions, promoting differentiated technologies and contributing to Medtronic's growth strategy through effective account management, opportunity development, and commercial execution.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Drive growth of the Neurosurgery Drills and ENT portfolio through customer engagement and business development.
Develop and execute territory and account plans to achieve AOP targets.
Build strong relationships with hospitals, clinicians, procurement teams, and key stakeholders.
Identify new business opportunities and support market expansion initiatives.
Manage sales pipelines, forecasting, and CRM updates.
Promote products through presentations, demonstrations, and commercial proposals.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer value and support product launches.
Conduct customer education activities and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Provide market, customer, and competitive insights to support business strategy.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required; Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, Healthcare Management, or related fields preferred.
2–5 years of sales, business development, or healthcare experience preferred; fresh graduates may apply.
Medical device, healthcare technology, or capital equipment sales experience is an advantage.
Strong skills in sales, account management, territory planning, pipeline management, and negotiation.
Commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and achieve business growth objectives.
