A Day in the LifeWe are currently hiring a sales representative to support the Surgical Innovations team. Reporting to the Sr. Sales Supervisor, the Sales Representative is responsible for promoting, selling, and servicing products within the Surgical Innovations business area mainly in Seoul. This is a rewarding and challenging position which provides the opportunity to truly make an immediate impact and achieve positive outcomes to patients’ lives.Primary Responsibilities
Work within and actively promote Medtronic’s core mission, corporate strategies, policies, procedures (Foundation list) and Code of Conduct
Promotes and sells Surgical Innovations products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals
Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Surgical Innovations products and/or services
Promotes and establishes education of the Surgical Innovations products and/or services to customers
Provide on-going field intelligence reports on competitive activity, changes in market, distribution, pricing as well as input on customer preferences and product features
Implements market development plans/strategies and organize marketing activities as needed
Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Less than 2 years of previous sales experience in Healthcare industry
Ability to absorb complex clinical & technical knowledge and communicate simply to others
Proficient in Computer skills and business or above level of English proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
Recent graduates (Entry-level candidates) are highly encouraged to apply.
Less than 2 years of previous sales experience in medical device industry.
Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
