The Role
Sell Pix4D software across infrastructure, utilities, surveying, agriculture, construction, and public safety markets. Responsibilities include qualifying inbound and outbound leads, closing SMB transactions, conducting discovery calls, presenting proposals and product demonstrations, identifying expansion opportunities, managing CRM records, and transitioning enterprise opportunities to senior sales and customer success teams. The role requires technical workflow discussions, market intelligence, relationship building, and 10–15% travel to trade shows and company events.
Summary Generated by Built In

Pix4D is seeking a talented, highly motivated Sales Representative to join our dynamic Americas sales team with a strategic focus across our core commercial verticals, including Civil Infrastructure, Public Utilities, Land Surveying, Precision Agriculture, and Public Safety.  This vital, hybrid role is designed for a self-starter who blends the skills of an effective closer with meticulous lead qualification and generation.

You will be the primary steward of our inbound lead traffic, responsible for efficiently closing quick, SMB transactions while ensuring high-quality, warm handoffs of high-potential enterprise infrastructure accounts to the Senior Sales team.  Acting as an initial workflow alignment partner, you will engage with technical stakeholders during their early discovery phases to show them how integrating drone mapping and photogrammetry into their core workflows can replace legacy, manual field data collection.  This is a critical entry point into a larger sales career at PIX4D as we continue to grow our footprint across the Americas.

For Colorado-based hires: Compensation Range: Base range is $64K to $75K with additional quarterly bonuses based on performance, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. In addition to base salary, the role includes an opportunity to receive and/or earn a discretionary bonus based on the Company’s plans and in accordance with the Company’s policies. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.

Key Responsibilities

    • Lead Engagement & Qualification: Represent Pix4D as the first point of contact with potential customers, providing exceptional initial engagement and qualifying inbound leads.
    • Cross-Industry Discovery: Build strong and lasting relationships with public safety agencies, agricultural consultants, utilities, and construction firms by conducting discovery calls and mapping out initial technical workflows.
    • Pipeline Optimization: Proactively identify, prospect, and qualify leads through both inbound and outbound activities to optimize the sales pipeline across all target verticals.
    • Proposals & Ecosystem Demonstrations: Prepare and present customized proposals, quotes, and product demonstrations covering the diverse PIX4D ecosystem (including PIX4Dfields for agriculture, PIX4Dmatic/catch for reality capture, and PIX4Dcloud).
    • Account Transition Management: Own the early lifecycle of the sale, identifying expansion or technical upgrade potential, and collaborating with Senior Sales and Customer Success teams for strategic account handoffs.
    • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends across precision agriculture, accident/crime scene reconstruction, civil engineering, and competitor offerings to identify market opportunities.
    • CRM Accuracy: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, leads, and opportunities in the CRM system (Hubspot proficiency is a plus).

Requirements
    • A bachelor's degree is required.
    • A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the software or technology industry.
    • Direct professional background or strong working knowledge of at least one of Pix4D’s core verticals: Precision Agriculture, Public Safety/First Response, Utilities, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Construction Management.
    • Motivated, self-starting, and results-driven with a strong desire to meet and exceed sales goals.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
    • A customer-focused mindset with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships over the phone, email, and virtual meetings.
    • Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Comfortable with technology and sales software tools, including use of CRM systems.
    • Willingness to travel to tradeshows and PIX4D events as needed (estimated at 10-15% of the time).
