Job Description:
We are looking for a Sales Planning Manager (Nutro/Temptations). This role drives overall growth, profitability, and multi-year strategy of a specific brand through leading the end-to-end business management and collaboration between marketing, customer management, and cross-functional team. Operating in the center of Sales Planning Managers, Portfolio Growth teams, and field teams, this position ensures an enterprise-wide perspective is maintained for all accountable brands.
This role is based in Franklin, Tennessee with regular in-office collaboration expected. Flexibility is a key enabler—empowering associates to make choices that support both business outcomes and personal needs, including occasional remote work.

- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of sales/category/analytics/marketing experience within CPG industry
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative partnerships with retail customers, account team, and internal business stakeholders
- Ability to understand complex data sources to develop and influence strategy and execution
- Strong analytic skills and ability to distill complex data into simple stories
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Critical link between Customer / Brand for Field Sales Team, bringing the Customer Development feedback back to the internal stakeholders
- Key partner for assigned Brand Marketing team to identify and drive execution behind share growth opportunities and strategy.
- Serve as liaison with internal merchandising teams develop in store displays, field materials and selling tools
- Internal customer development lead for assigned brands for internal planning processes including providing updates to various key stakeholders
- Lead Weekly/Periodic/Deep Dive Key Customer Meetings to Address Strategic and Tactical Account Needs & Deliver Annual Planning Milestones
- Customization of category/brand toolkits to support category shopper dynamics and growth opportunities.
- Partner with marketing to develop compelling Brand & New Item selling stories for their assigned brands that tie back into overarching Petcare category & organization objectives.
- Responsibility of shepherding and providing sales perspective on innovation/renovation projects inclusive of compiling AB/ER SOP and providing Field perspective/feedback from charter gate to implementation
- Attends and represents portfolio/brand presentations with strategic and developmental accounts
- Co-Develop Strategic Joint Business Plans with Brand Marketing and Account Teams
- Sales Representation in Portfolio Growth Teams
