AECO: The Trimble AECO segment provides digital construction solutions that increase precision and productivity for Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations.

What Makes This Role Great:

In this role, you won't just track numbers; you will be the architect of the sales ecosystem for our AECO segment. You’ll have the unique opportunity to design and implement commission structures—directly influencing the motivation and success of our global sales force.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Compensation Plan Design & Process: Lead process improvement and end-to-end management of Sales Compensation Plan documents, policies, and internal processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams for creation, approval, and communication.

  • Commission Auditing & Controls: Own the monthly commission review and sign-off for critical business units, ensuring appropriate controls are tested and maintained within the sales compensation software.

  • Automate for Success: Champion sales tool automation to reduce manual tasks, enabling teams to focus on driving revenue.

  • Strategic Leadership Influence: Act as a trusted advisor to sales leadership by preparing and presenting executive summaries on the health of the sales funnel and performance gaps.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Industry Expertise: You have 3–5 years of experience in Sales Operations with a dedicated focus on incentive compensation design in a fast-paced tech environment.

  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or an Operational field.

  • Technical Mastery: Proven proficiency in Salesforce and advanced data tools like Excel, Domo, or Tableau.

  • Collaborative Communication: You are a natural communicator with a proven talent for translating complex data into clear narratives for executive leadership.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience designing multi-channel direct sales compensation strategies.

  • A passion for "visionary pragmatism"—thinking big while building scalable, working processes.

Logistics

  • Location: Westminster, CO or Lake Oswego, OR or Alpharetta, GA (4 days per week in-office)
  • Travel Requirement: 5-10% (Occasional travel for annual Sales Kickoff events)

Compensation:  Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
