Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the annual sales and partnerships plan in alignment with UWallet's strategy, budget and growth priorities.
- Lead, coach and manage the sales and partnerships team, setting clear objectives, KPIs and performance expectations.
- Define and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets for revenue, customer acquisition, merchant growth and partnership development.
- Identify, evaluate and prioritize new market opportunities, sales channels, products and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain a structured pipeline of prospective customers, merchants, institutions and strategic partners.
- Own the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, including prospecting, qualification, commercial negotiation, contracting, onboarding, activation and performance review.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, merchants, financial institutions, technology providers and other strategic partners.
- Prepare and present commercial proposals, business cases and partnership models, including revenue and profitability assessments.
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, Customer Experience, Finance and Compliance to ensure effective launch and delivery of commercial initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activity and industry developments, and translate insights into actionable growth initiatives.
- Track sales and partnership performance through regular reporting, pipeline reviews, forecasts and corrective action plans.
- Ensure that commercial activities and agreements comply with applicable policies, regulatory requirements and approved authority limits.
- Support the development of customer value propositions, referral programs and lead-generation networks.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by management within the scope of the role.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree is an advantage.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in sales, partnerships, business development, key account management or a related commercial field, including at least 3 years in a managerial or team-lead role.
Industry Experience:
Experience in financial services, fintech, mobile payments, telecommunications, or a technology-enabled business is preferred.
Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of sales planning, partnership models, account management, commercial negotiations, revenue generation, market analysis and customer lifecycle management. Understanding of payment ecosystems and relevant regulatory requirements is an advantage.
Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, influencing, stakeholder management, pipeline management, forecasting and deal-closing skills. Strong commercial judgment, analytical capability, and customer orientation are required.
Work Environment:
60% office and 40% field, depending on business requirements.
