About the Role:
The Revenue Operations team is responsible for creating, maintaining, and continually improving PitchBook’s systems that support our client-facing roles in Sales and Customer Success. This team works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT to drive efficiency, accuracy, and revenue growth.
The Sales Operations Specialist at PitchBook ensures the smooth functioning of our sales teams. This role is the primary point of contact for our internal customers, the business users, providing swift and effective responses to their requests and support tickets. Your focus will be on resolving issues promptly, either through personal resolution or by routing them to the appropriate internal teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for addressing inquiries regarding operational processes and guiding internal customers on how to effectively utilize operational tools through basic training sessions.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to new requests and support tickets from internal customers (business users) within specified service level agreements
- Resolve issues whenever possible, ensuring minimal disruption to PitchBook’s Sales teams
- Route requests to Revenue Operations leaders or other internal teams when greater expertise or intervention is required
- Provide guidance and basic training to end users on operational processes and tools to enhance their productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain accurate records of support tickets, resolutions, and any necessary follow-up actions
- Proactively identify areas for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance the overall sales enablement function
- Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or similar field
- 1+ years of experience in a Sales Operations or Customer Support role, preferably within a technology or SaaS company
- Strong understanding of operational processes and tools commonly used in sales enablement functions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with internal customers at all levels
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving orientation to effectively troubleshoot issues and propose solutions
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality support services
- Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and other operational tools
- Willingness to adapt to evolving processes and technologies to meet the changing needs of the organization

Compensation
- Annual base salary: $65,000-$75,000
- Target annual bonus percentage: 7.5%
*Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be different ranges for candidates by location.
Working Conditions:
We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it’s helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 3+ days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
