1) Position Overview
SemiAnalysis is a research and consulting firm focused on semiconductors, AI infrastructure, data centers, and the broader technology supply chain. We work with investors, technology companies, and industry stakeholders who rely on our research to understand complex technical and commercial markets.
We are looking for a Sales Operations Associate / Manager to help build and improve the systems, processes, reporting, and commercial infrastructure that support our growing sales and client-facing teams.
This role will support pipeline management, CRM hygiene, sales reporting, client data management, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination across sales, research, consulting, finance, and operations.
The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, commercially minded, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment. This person should enjoy turning messy information into clear workflows, dashboards, reports, and actionable insights.
2) Responsibilities
Own and maintain CRM data quality, ensuring accounts, contacts, opportunities, deal stages, sales activities, and follow-up records are accurate and up to date.
Support pipeline management by helping the sales team track new opportunities, deal progression, client follow-ups, renewal timelines, account ownership, and revenue forecasts.
Prepare regular sales reports covering pipeline status, revenue forecast, conversion rates, renewal risks, win/loss trends, and sales activity.
Build and maintain dashboards to give leadership visibility into sales performance, commercial priorities, revenue opportunities, and deal bottlenecks.
Improve workflows for lead tracking, account management, proposal follow-up, subscription renewals, client handoffs, and internal approvals.
Support commercial documentation, including proposals, pricing records, client records, contract coordination, approval notes, and renewal tracking.
Partner with finance and operations on invoicing, payment tracking, client data accuracy, and revenue reporting.
Work closely with sales, research, consulting, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth internal coordination.
Track client requests, follow-up items, demos, and commitments to ensure clear ownership and timely follow-through.
Standardize sales templates, playbooks, SOPs, reporting cadences, and internal trackers.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to make the sales function more scalable.
Recommend automation opportunities to reduce manual work and improve data accuracy.
3) Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Operations, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
1–5 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, business operations, commercial operations, finance operations, consulting, or account management support.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with sales data, CRM reports, spreadsheets, dashboards, pipeline metrics, and revenue reporting.
Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or similar reporting tools.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workflows, deadlines, and stakeholders at the same time.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.
Strong judgment, ownership, and willingness to build processes from the ground up.
Interest in technology, semiconductors, AI infrastructure, data centers, or financial markets.
4) Preferred Skills
Experience with CRM and workflow tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Airtable, Notion, or Asana.
Experience in B2B sales operations, revenue operations, SaaS, research subscriptions, consulting, financial services, or technology businesses.
Familiarity with subscription revenue, renewals, enterprise sales cycles, account management, revenue forecasting, or client success workflows.
Experience building sales dashboards, CRM reports, sales playbooks, SOPs, workflow automations, or internal trackers.
