Lead and direct coverage of wafer fabrication equipment suppliers and foundries. Manage a small analyst team, produce authoritative research and financial models, forecast equipment spending and foundry capacity, advise institutional clients, and represent the firm at industry conferences while coordinating US and APAC coverage.

Supports the leadership team and daily operations of a venture investment firm. Responsibilities include managing complex calendars, coordinating domestic and international travel, organizing executive communications, preparing meetings, serving as a contact for investors and founders, planning events, and overseeing office administration, vendors, invoices, records, and special projects.

Manage full-cycle accounting and corporate administration: accounts payable/receivable, payroll and benefits, banking and cash flow, vendor onboarding and purchasing, tax filings and registrations, multi-entity compliance, month-end close and financial reporting, HR onboarding/offboarding, and process improvements across finance and administrative functions.

Perform end-to-end hardware teardowns and publish technical analysis of AI and datacenter hardware. Plan acquisitions, run lab analyses (silicon, packaging, memory, power, interconnect), interpret results into architecture, cost, and roadmap insights, and maintain industry coverage via conferences, papers, and networks.

Provide legal, commercial, compliance, and governance support across contracts, employment, IP, data privacy, and cross-border operations. Draft and negotiate agreements, advise leadership on legal risk, build scalable legal templates and processes, manage external counsel, and support disputes and global expansion.

Support consulting engagements and research across the semiconductor and AI stack by performing technical analysis, cross-stack research, analytical modeling, and preparing client-facing reports, presentations, and briefings. Track industry trends, evaluate hardware and AI model developments, and collaborate with senior consultants to translate technical insights into strategic recommendations.

Lead research on the macroeconomics of AI by authoring flagship reports, building quantitative forecasting models, integrating bottom-up semiconductor and datacenter data into macro estimates, developing LLM-driven research pipelines, performing econometric analysis, and communicating findings to investors, policymakers, and the public.

Support lead analysts by maintaining industry models, perform financial analysis and three-statement modeling, research semiconductor and AI markets, prepare reports and presentations, represent the firm at APAC events, and contribute to newsletter articles.

Design, build, and maintain data models, ETL pipelines, dashboards, and APIs to support industry models, research, and consulting. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and observability while integrating new datasets and cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to deliver robust, modular production data systems with minimal supervision.

Analyze how AI models are deployed in production across hyperscalers and enterprises, evaluate inference-time tradeoffs (latency, throughput, cost), model economic impacts on product margins, diligence AI company infrastructure and unit economics, and translate deployment-level technical choices into investment-grade economic insights.

Perform deep technical teardown and architectural analysis of AI/datacenter hardware (GPUs, CPUs, ASICs). Drive sample preparation, failure analysis, use FIB/SEM/X-ray tools, interpret design/process trade-offs (DTCO/STCO), co-author research, and expand lab capabilities and tooling.
