Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participates in annual Strategic planning process.
  • Oversees the Tech Service team to provide timely application tests, installations, and world-class technical support.
  • Champions and leads a Technical Service application tracker and application review.
  • Oversees the CSG group and drives change needed for best-in-class service using fact-based data-driven decisions.
  • Partners with Marketing and Engineering on successful application test translations that can be replicated globally.
  • Understands our customer journey and how to match our solutions to create value.
  • Reports Opportunity funnel health, Quarterly and Monthly forecast projections, and weekly reporting on those projections.
  • Oversees contract pricing and annual re-negotiation in alignment with our strategic initiatives.
  • Drive net promoter Score (NPS) through better-differentiated customer engagement strategies.
  • Leads, trains, and assesses sales technical training gaps using fact-based metrics, testing, and interactive training.
  • Responsible for aligning and optimizing sales strategies across multiple business groups to improve and impact sales productivity, while improving processes for scalable growth and impactful revenue.
  • Responsible for providing leadership, direction, and management for the sales and service teams
  • Building a strong and agile team through the Ascend strategy and Nordson Business System. As a member of the EFD leadership team, drive excellence in all aspects of the business.
  • Eliminate complexity and drive growth through your team, by staying focused on set targets using data-driven decisions
  • Responsible for Global CRM administration and the desired features needed for all global teams.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of experience in similar roles
  • Experience managing and leading a team of 10+ individuals
  • Experience working with and leveraging cross-functional teams
  • Sales, Technical Service, and Customer Service leadership experience preferred

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent project management skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects under pressure.
  • Able to build relationships with peers, cross-functional counterparts, and management in a matrix environment.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and take initiative.
  • Strong knowledge of EFD products and how they bring value when matched with customer manufacturing needs a plus.
  • Strong ability to create intuitive Standard work and interactive training tools and modules.
  • Experience communicating with customers over the phone, virtually, and in person on various technical and sales challenges and opportunities.
  • Process orientated and a standard work champion.
