Job Description

As part of the strong development of its Business Information Services, Coface is recruiting a Sales Operations: Business Information. This key role will be reporting directly to the Group Sales Operations Director, Business Information at Coface. In this role you will be focusing on maximizing productivity and revenue growth.

Job Summary

The sales Operations is responsible for driving measurable improvements in sales productivity and across the entire sales organization. This role acts as a strategic partner to the Sales Leadership to ensure the sales team is equipped and focused on high-value activities that accelerate revenue growth and reduce the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Optimization & Standardization:

  • Analyze and optimize the end-to-end sales process (from lead to closed deal) across all regions
  • Design, document, and implement consistent sales methodologies, definitions, playbooks, and best practices across all sales territories and teams.

2. Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Develop and track key performance indicators and metrics for sales productivity and effectiveness.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales performance to provide strategic insights and recommendations for leadership on areas for improvement.
  • Gather sales performance reports for various stakeholders

3. Sales Enablement:

  • Collaborate with training department to identify training needs related to process, tools, and new methodologies.
  • Ensure the sales team has access to the right content, resources, and tools at the right stage of the sales process.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, pilot of new tools and automation opportunities to boost team productivity and effectiveness.

4. Territory & Quota Management:

  • Design sales and account management compensations plans, quotas assignments to align with company goals and maximize motivation and fairness as well as incentives roadmap.
  • Support the annual sales planning and forecasting process, providing data-driven inputs.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Liaise with Marketing to optimize lead qualification and hand-off processes.
  • Work with Finance on budget planning, sales incentive compensation design, and revenue forecasting.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5+ years in Sales Operations, Efficiency, Enablement, or commercial performance management.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong-level proficiency with CRM systems, including report generation, and data quality management.
    • Strong skills in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau, Power BI,).
  • Familiarity with sales technology (e.g., Sales Engagement, Revenue AI tools or other Sales Ops tools).
  • Experience designing and delivering Revenue Performance Insights, Sales coverage modeling, Sales productivity, revenue reporting, forecasting and pipeline management
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies
  • Proven track record of driving change and leading complex projects in a cross-functional environment.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
