We are looking for a seasoned Sales Operations Coordinator who will be working closely with the local Sales/Business Manager to help support clients and grow business for the company. A distinguished Sales Operations Coordinator at Fidus sets priorities for themselves and they are the glue that keeps the team together. Our ideal candidate will be motivated by a fast-paced environment, daily client communication and working towards a common goal.
A Look into the Sales Operations Coordinator at Fidus
- Partner with local Business Manager(s) to maintain up-to-date information for accounts and clients while assisting them in managing ongoing and upcoming opportunities;
- CRM (Salesforce) entry support and maintenance;
- Maintain information accuracy through defined sales processes and proper reporting;
- Assist with the preparation of client Proposals/Presentations and Quotations while adhering to Fidus Quality Standards;
- Client Relationship Management during Business Manager absence by providing excellent customer service, quick response and proper etiquette;
- Professionally field and qualify incoming leads in the CRM and to ensure correct follow through actions are taken;
- Sleuth out leads using CRM Database, LinkedIn to introduce Fidus and setup meetings for Business Managers;
- Responsible for collecting data and creating various reports as requested in CRM (Salesforce);
- Work with the Sales Team to ensure submissions are on-time and follow-up schedules are maintained;
- Work with the Sales Team to track and log lost opportunities and lead lost opportunity investigations;
- Assist with new marketing initiatives (case studies, conferences, brochures etc.) by working with the Sales Team and Engineering Team;
- Review current internal sales processes, and then recommend improvements and/or new processes to help adapt to changing business requirements;
- Act as a liaison between various departments (estimation, project management, finance) to ensure the timelines are met and information is provided in regards to Sales Activities.
Attributes & Qualifications Required:
- Post-secondary education in a related field or the equivalent professional work experience;
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Customer Service, Support or Sales focused role;
- Experience in the technology sector or a professional services agency;
- Proficiency using Salesforce;
- Proficiency using MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook;
- Exhibit strong communication skills, fluent in English;
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail;
- Interacts well with customers and other employees;
- Enjoy working in an ever changing and diverse environment;
- Experience in aerospace and/or defense industry preferred;
