Position SummaryThe public sector enabling capabilities organization (ECO) consists of six functions that supports Huron at the enterprise level: sales operations (SO), sales enablement (SE), government and policy relations, contracts management, engagement management, and engagement assurance. As part of ECO, SO partners with sellers and business unit leaders to architect sales assets by reviewing, managing, and developing content for sales meetings or pursuits and leading content development for top of funnel sales activities. The SO Associate supports a markets and leaders to drive growth and strategic sales initiatives.Qualifications
In this role, the SO Associate will provide support before and after client sales meetings by collaborating with Huron leaders on next steps, researching clients and client needs, and coordinating next steps for internal and external meetings. The SO Associate will be expected to meet or exceed reasonable follow-up activity goals. In addition, this role monitors and assists with sales process compliance and works with market leaders to maximize sales efforts and results. Other responsibilities include event management, lead generation, client outreach, relationship mapping, and support to general sales requests outside of assigned area(s) as needed. Typical duties include the following:
- Collaborate with public sector market team to account plan, complete market research, and execute growth strategies.
- Lead and/or participate in enterprise and public sector ECO initiatives such as event management, content management, research, and market insights.
- Complete opportunity review process and support triage of work across the sales operations team.
- Recommend and develop outreach and social media content initiatives to deliver on public sector go-to-market strategies.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure third-party tools function properly and fulfill Huron’s sales needs.
- Develop sales assets in preparation for sales meetings, develop and maintain stock public sector content according to current Huron brand standards.
- Coordinate with Salesforce SME to maintain Salesforce records and create ad hoc Salesforce reports as needed.
- Manage and delegate workload to India GET and recommend process improvements to increase the team’s collaboration and shared utilization.
- Support the development and engagement of the SO analyst.
- Coordinate cross-functionally to proactively support market leads and facilitate collaboration.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A successful candidate will have excellent sales writing and prospecting skills along with strong follow-up and organization skills. They will be able to manage a variety of tasks with deadlines that often require a quick turnaround and be comfortable working in a unique and high intensity role on the SO team. Reporting to a SO Manager, this position actively coordinates with individuals across the public sector ECO team to instill consistency and best practices. Further, in collaboration with a SO Senior Associate or Manager, this role will lead discussions and strategize with practice leadership including MDs, SDs, and other key sellers who actively participate in sales pursuits.
Technical Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs) and Background
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- US Work Authorization required
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant business experience required
- Candidates may live anywhere in the contiguous US – non-billable role with limited travel required
- Excellent writing and research skills with the ability to understand prospects or contacts and independently create email communication that will create and build connections with sales leaders
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to coordinate internal staff, resources, and tasks
- Strong project manager with ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines and with a focus on high quality and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, resourceful, and have excellent problem-solving skills
- Good presentation, interpersonal skills, and positive attitude
- Committed to the development of a high performing team
- Proficient in Word, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Excel skills; advanced PowerPoint skills preferred
- CRM (Salesforce) and content management software (Seismic) experience preferred
- Quick learner of Huron’s core services and capabilities
The estimated base salary range for this job is $70,000-$95,000 . The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $78,400-$112,100. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
