About the Role

Yahoo Ads is looking for a motivated Sales Operations and Strategy Specialist with a passion for data and a knack for organization to join our Sales Operations & Strategy team. If you have experience working with Tableau and want to grow your career in sales operations, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact while leading key initiatives and learning from experienced professionals.

In this role, you'll lead operational projects, manage dashboard development, analyze sales data, and improve the tools and processes that power our sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Support operational projects from initiation to completion, including defining scope, setting timelines, coordinating resources, and tracking progress.

  • Reporting & Analytics: Support the development and maintenance of Tableau dashboards that track sales performance, pipeline metrics, and team KPIs; provide deep dives and actionable insights from complex sales data to inform business decisions.

  • Process Optimization: Support documentation and optimization of internal workflows and operational processes, identifying areas for efficiency gains and implementing solutions.

  • Tool Management & Strategy: Support user onboarding, issue tracking, and advanced troubleshooting for CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, etc.); contribute to the strategic roadmap for sales tool enhancements.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate project status, analytical findings, and recommendations to various stakeholders, including sales leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Account Mgmt, Financial Operations, Data Analytics, and Monetization teams to ensure alignment and support on shared initiatives, acting as a liaison for data and operational needs.

Qualifications

  • 1-4 years of experience in a project management, operations, or analytics role.

  • Proficient in Tableau to support the build of complex dashboards and performing advanced data analysis.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and advanced data manipulation techniques.

  • Proven ability to support multiple projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and time management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.

The compensation for this position ranges from $46,500.00 - $96,875.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
