To support the Head of Product in the active management of bank performance through the collation, analysis and distribution of bank market share and performance data across internal and external stakeholders. The role manages day-to-day relationships with banking partners, produces detailed performance and intent/appetite analysis used by the broader business and aids in the automation and modernisation of bank performance reporting.
Bank Performance Reporting
- Ensures timely distribution of daily and monthly bank market share and performance reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintains existing performance reports and designs new reports as needed
- Prepares detailed bank performance management information (MI) for internal use
- Prepares intent and appetite analysis (e.g. approval rates, customer appetite, bank performance trends) for use by the team in macro- and micro-economic insights
- Prepares performance metrics and presentations as required for meetings and management forums
Bank Relationship Management
- Maintains day-to-day relationships with banking partners regarding performance data and reporting requirements
- Acts as secondary liaison on bank performance enquiries and requests
- Assists with the design, implementation and management of bank splits and targets
Automation, Modernisation & Process Improvement
- Assist in the automation and modernisation of bank performance reporting processes and tools
- Develops reporting policies and procedures
- Assists in the execution of process improvements
- Assists in the facilitation of successful implementation of new intelligence reports and initiatives across bank and market share performance
Strategy & Performance Management
- Executes and operationalises relevant business strategies and initiatives in line with the company's business objectives
- Works closely with senior leadership to define optimal performance measurements and performance management interventions
- Assists in aligning reporting, training and interventions with performance management priorities
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric
- Experience in a similar role within product or operations teams - financial services industry experience advantageous
- Demonstrated experience working with large datasets and producing management reporting
Required Skills:
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Complex problem-solving ability
- Intermediate to advanced-level project management skills
- Proficient communicator (written and verbal)
- Solid technical acumen – sales systems, data reporting systems etc
- Solid financial acumen – trend analysis, variance analysis etc
