The Sales Operations Analyst, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Sales Operations will be a key business partner to the sales and marketing team. The Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting our sales and marketing team by providing insights, optimizing processes, and driving efficiency in our sales operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and highly analytical.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and maintain sales reports, dashboards and KPIs to track performance metrics.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sales processes and workflows.
  • Assist in territory planning, quota setting and sales forecasting.
  • Initiate automation and productivity projects that will enhance and streamline the reporting practices to produce high-quality, timely and accurate results.
  • Lead the planning and execution of account planning projects, establishing clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Ensure that all account plans are aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Work closely with the account trams, sales leadership, and other cross-functional teams to develop and refine account plans.
  • Perform market research of competitors and industry to summarize key data and identify trends.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing market research findings with valuable insight for stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement tools and technologies to streamline sales operations.
  • Other ad-hoc analysis and duties as assigned. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Required proficiency in Microsoft: Office Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong proficiency in Excel is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Adaptable to changing work environment and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to effectively engage employees and build relationships across the company.

Experience/Skills: This position requires at least three years of progressive experience in sales operations, business analysis or related roles. It also requires proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, PowerPoint CRM systems and/or SaaS applications. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

Education: This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.

Work environment: Mostly local work with limited travel required.
