Job Description

The Sales Operations Analyst, Customer Compliance supports customer compliance, pricing compliance, and commercial program initiatives across the organization. This role partners with Sales, Distribution, Supply Planning, Customer Service, Legal, and external partners to ensure adherence to customer requirements, pricing policies, and marketplace compliance standards.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in customer compliance processes within the consumer products industry.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Sales Operations and is based onsite in Irvine, CA.

In Sales Operations, you will have an opportunity to:

Brand Compliance & Marketplace Management

  • Monitor and enforce Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policies across North America.

  • Partner with third-party compliance providers to identify and resolve pricing and brand violations.

  • Manage marketplace compliance activities, including unauthorized seller monitoring and brand protection efforts.

  • Recommend corrective actions to maintain channel integrity and protect brand value.

Inventory & Promotional Pricing

  • Partner with Sales, Demand Planning, and Supply Planning to review inventory levels and identify excess or aging inventory.

  • Support promotional pricing recommendations and inventory disposition strategies.

  • Track promotional program effectiveness and pricing compliance.

Customer Compliance Administration

  • Serve as the primary owner of customer compliance processes and communications.

  • Manage customer compliance inquiries and support internal and external stakeholders.

  • Maintain compliance documentation, requirements, and business records.

Commercial Terms & Distribution Coordination

  • Coordinate customer-specific operational requirements, including routing guides, value-added services (VAS), warranty allowances, and chargeback prevention.

  • Act as the liaison between Sales Operations and Distribution teams.

  • Support implementation of compliance-related fees, allowances, and service requirements.

Vendor Management, Reporting & Analytics

  • Manage third-party compliance platforms and vendors.

  • Maintain product, SKU, and compliance data within external systems.

  • Develop and distribute compliance reporting, dashboards, and scorecards.

  • Provide actionable insights, trends, risks, and recommendations to business leaders.

Sales Operations Support

  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis.

  • Participate in cross-functional projects focused on customer experience, operational efficiency, and business growth.

  • Support process improvements, documentation, testing, and training efforts.

You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Customer Compliance, Revenue Management, Pricing, Customer Service Operations, or a related function.

  • Experience within consumer products, sporting goods, outdoor recreation, apparel, footwear, or similar industries.

  • Knowledge of customer compliance programs, pricing compliance, chargebacks, marketplace monitoring, or retail customer requirements.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience preferred.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Distribution, Customer Service, Finance, and Legal teams.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

You Might Have:
  • Experience managing MAP compliance programs.

  • Experience with Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, or other online marketplace compliance initiatives.

  • Knowledge of retail operations, routing guides, chargeback management, and customer compliance requirements.

  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.

  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
