The opportunity:

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Sales & Marketing Strategy Specialist to support the country organization in defining, deploying, and monitoring its sales and marketing strategy.

In this high-impact role, you will work at the intersection of strategy, execution, and communication. You will support Sales and Marketing Management, the Country Managing Director, and regional stakeholders by providing market analysis, business insights, strategic recommendations, and structured communication materials.

You will play a key role in country budgeting, strategic planning, market positioning, and business performance monitoring. Through your analytical capabilities and strategic thinking, you will help ensure alignment between local priorities, regional direction, and global business objectives.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement improvement actions.
  • Support the Country Managing Director in developing and monitoring strategic initiatives and business plans.
  • Drive and coordinate country budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and drive execution
  • Represent Hitachi Energy with professionalism and integrity in all customer interactions
  • You will develop and implement country strategic plans aligned with Hitachi Energy's global and regional objectives
  • You will monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to identify threats and opportunities to provide regular reports on pipeline status, and market insights.
  • Lead market intelligence activities, including sector analysis, competitor monitoring, customer trends, and market potential assessment.
  • Drive marketing activities and and budgeting process
  • Act as a key point of contact for market intelligence topics within the local organization.
  • Contribute to defining go-to-market approaches and organizational positioning.
  • Develop executive communication materials, business reviews, strategic presentations, and internal alignment documents.
  • You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • Degree in Engineering / Economics or equivalent.
  • >3 years of experience in commercial or technical roles (preferably in the following areas: Electrical Substations and/or Protection and Control Systems and/or Renewable Energy Sources Plants and/or Industrial Cogeneration and/or Electrical Transmission, Generation and Distribution).
  • Good analytical skills, proactivity and customer-oriented mindset;
  • Excellent ability to work in a team;
  • Good knowledge of written / spoken English;
  • Fluent of written / spoken Italian;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce;
  • Availability to travel around the country and abroad.
  • Ability to develop personal and commercial high-level relationships,
  • Good negotiation skills, and problem solving.

The minimum salary for this position in the location specified is as follows:

  • Starting from: 38000 € gross

 

The final offer will be based on candidate location, skills and qualifications, experience, and aligned with internal pay structures.

Skills Required

  • Degree in Engineering or Economics or equivalent
  • More than 3 years of experience in commercial or technical roles
  • Experience preferably in Electrical Substations, Protection and Control Systems, Renewable Energy, Industrial Cogeneration, or Electrical Transmission/Distribution
