The Role and What You’ll Do:
The Sales Manager is responsible for assisting travelers in getting to and from their event destination according to their itinerary. Answer incoming calls from external and internal customers to facilitate orders, answer inquiries and questions, handle complaints, troubleshoot problems, create cases and/or incidents, and provide information. The Sales Manager will exceed customer expectations by using creative thinking combined with a customer-first mindset to deliver outstanding service to the desired standard of the San Diego office.

Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism when interacting with vendors, guests, partners, clients, and peers

Work with clients, as needed, to identify specific needs and expectations; special/custom product fulfillments

Maintain continuous knowledge of tennis events and partnerships to recognize product, market, and service-related trends in the industry

Understand and achieve profitability goals as it relates to product fulfillment and tennis event packages

Execute the sale of innovative products that meet the needs of partners and clients; identify further sales and service opportunities to upsell VIP/upscale packages

Investigate and resolve specific issues related to clientele; identify and escalate priority issues; and route calls/issues to the appropriate resource

Serve as a supervisor to Customer Service Representatives to aid them with providing quality service to all guests

Work closely with the events team and properly understand and communicate event updates with the Customer Service Representatives

Gain an understanding of TPS to build and manage package/product offerings, rooming lists, hotel vouchers, ticketing, special requests, etc.

Provide support for event team – includes but not limited to reporting, package/product builds, customer support services, and on-site event activation

Participate in post-event review meetings to learn and grow, and offer ideas and suggestions to streamline event processes

Other general administrative duties (e.g., filing, data entry, etc.) as assigned
You Have These
-
G.E.D. or high school diploma
-
Experience in a customer service position (minimum of 3+ years) preferably in sports and/or travel and hospitality industry

Strong organizational, telephone etiquette, and customer service skills
-
Attention to detail and accurate data entry and typing skills

Exceptional interpersonal skills – a collaborative style and ability to communicate effectively at all levels with strong oral, written, and presentation skills

Ability to multi-task within a high-pressure environment;

A proven record of accomplishment of strong personal effectiveness in which imaginative and distinctive service have been demonstrated

Continually strive for self-development and discovering better means of accomplishing both personal and professional goals
We’d Love If You Also Have These:

Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Business or a related field strongly preferred

Experience with reservation or inventory management systems is a plus

Knowledge of Tennis Events, Events Operations, and Travel & Hospitality

Must be empathic to customers’ needs
Travel: Additional hours, some weekends, and availability to travel for work during holidays is required during peak events times.

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
Hiring Range Minimum:
$64,480 annually
Hiring Range Maximum:
$65,000 annually
