About the role

In this position, you will report to the Area Sales Director France. You will manage and be responsible for the sales activities of a specific area according to defined objectives in terms of volume, profitability and customer portfolio in order to achieve long-term success. You will sell and promote all product lines, including Classic Sawn and Planed, Construction Beam, Industrial Components and LVL. You will participate in and contribute to the local sales and product strategy.

Main responsibilities 

  • Be accountable for delivering sales and profitability targets in the dedicated geographic sales sector and customer portfolio.

  • Act as the first point of contact with customers, responding to inquiries and providing solutions in a timely manner

  • Negotiate and manage customer agreements

  • Provide a positive customer experience and develop relationships with customers, including regular visits

  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks

  • Resolve conflicts and customer claims

  • Manage inventory and track sales until full payment to Stora Enso is made

  • Ensure credit limits are properly in place

  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions.

  • Work closely with the CSC to serve customers as a single team

  • Propose actions to improve sales performance and identify growth opportunities

  • Technical knowledge of timber products, sawmilling or further processing is an asset
